
Here's an oldie from the BBC. Last year the BBC created this Bing Map to help preserve endangered sounds for future generations. The map lets anyone submit a recorded sound to the map and users of the map can play the submitted sounds directly from the map.
There is a lot of fun to be had from this map just from listening to the interesting soundscapes around the world.
